Our story
A living room, a kettle, and a stubborn hope
Centre of Grace Assembly began in 2008 with three people in a small garden. What has changed since then is the size of the room, and the number of people. What has not changed is why we gather.
Centre Of Grace Assembly is a vision that was given by God Almighty Himself. In October 2006, I was on a mission in Togo where I was invited to preach in a particular church program tagged: “Azusa 2006.” The man of God (Our Host) lodged me in a hotel called “Ambassador Hotel.” One afternoon, after ministering powerfully in the morning session of the program, I got to my hotel room to relax, and almost before that, the Lord came to me in the presence of His Spirit and said to me: “Daughter, do you think if Christ had not dealt with His weakness He would have obtained the name giving people salvation today?” Then I replied “No.” Again, the Lord said, “It is the weaknesses of men that contend with 'My crown of glory' for their lives; because my glory is upon the life of every destiny in Christ, that's why Satan actually fights them with their weaknesses.
Then again the Lord said: “I was equally tempted by him, but I did not sin; now, go and tell them (men) to deal with their weaknesses in order for them to enter into my desired rest for them.

Grace first
We lead with what God has done, not with what people should do. Every other value follows from that one.
Family, not audience
You are not a number on a Sunday. We know names, we share meals, we show up when things fall apart.
Sent, not settled
The doors swing both ways. What we receive on Sunday is meant for the neighbourhood on Monday.

Lead Pastor
Samuel has served the Centre of Grace family since its first meeting in a living room in 2009. They teach verse by verse and love a long lunch afterwards.
Pastor Naa Adjeley Mensah
Associate Pastor, Care
Naa leads the care and counselling team and oversees the small groups that keep the church feeling small as it grows.
Kwame Osei
Worship Director
Kwame has been writing songs for the house for a decade and leads the team of forty who serve across services.
Esi Boateng
Youth & Campus Pastor
Esi builds the bridge between Sunday and the rest of the week for students across three campuses.

Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues
Water Baptism
We believe in water baptism, which symbolizes and also made us partakers of His death, burial and resurrection power that has brought us into newness of life
Restoration and Empowerment
We believe we can transform and redirect Christians and soldiers of the cross whom Satan has tin-canned with the crown of glory, by helping them to deal with their weaknesses which Satan has used to hold them down.
